A Little About Her:
95% of my time is spent with my 2 girls, and I love it! They make me laugh all day long. My husband is the lead dispatcher at a 911 call center. Our home is on the Oregon Coast and we LIVE for the summertime! I grew up in California and have only been in Oregon for two years, so it's kinda funny to compare summers. I used to hate summer in California, way too hot! I'm still adjusting to not being around family and friends though, thank goodness for the Internet.
Favorite product from E.A.D.
This is a toughie! EAD has so many wonderful images to choose from with more showing up every week it seems! Right now my favorite is the new "Life is Sweet" rub ons. I'm just trying to figure out what color I want to order them in.
Favorite color combo you like to create with.
I used to use a lot of brown and pink but lately it's been black and cranberry. It all depends on who and what the project is for. Every room in my house is a different color, I guess I reflect that in my projects! ;)
What inspires you?
I love looking at all the projects that come up in my google reader, it's so fun and amazing to see what people can create. I really try to make every card or project I create for the recipient though and hope their personality inspires me.
How and when did you start doing crafts?
I started scrapbooking about 10 years ago when my coworkers invited me to a Creative Memories party. Looking back at those old albums, I really want to redo them with all the newest in scrapbooking supplies and techniques! I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that I can blame my friend Gina for my stamps and embellishments obsession though. She is the one who introduced me to CTMH about 5 years ago and since then I can't get enough! I started my blog last October and really enjoy the community and people out there in blogland! They are all so thoughtful and creative and really make me feel welcome.
What kind of music do you listen to while crafting?
Most of the time I am crafting while my girls are asleep so no music for me since my craft room is right across the hall from them. My favorite music is New Wave though.
Do you have pets and what kinds?
We have two cats Me and You and used to have a ferret named That but he passed away a few months ago. I'm VERY jealous of Lindsay's new puppy though, I <3>
Hobbies besides crafting.
I enjoy photography a lot. I wish that I had enough free time to continue taking classes at the local community college, I love being in the dark room. I also enjoy cards, board games, video games, and going to car micro car shows. (the purple mini truck is mine)
What kind of career do you have?
(work out of the home?) I'm in the process of opening a small retail business in the downtown area of Astoria, Oregon. I will keep everyone posted on this! ;)
How or where did you hear about E.A.D.?
Lindsay Spencer, who designs for EAD and also for Unity Stamp Company, spread the news about EAD and I'm SO thrilled that she did because her images ROCK and it's fun to be able to play with them in vinyl form.
