It's time for another Blog Hop.
We are so excited to announce JENN as our Guest Designer for this months Blog Hop.
A little about Jenn: 95% of my time is spent with my 2 girls, and I love it! They make me laugh all day long. My husband is the lead dispatcher at a 911 call center. Our home is on the Oregon Coast and we LIVE for the summertime! I take lots of pictures of Rori and Icee and spend time making them into scrapbooks, so we can look back and treasure these moments later in life. Other than motherhood, photography, and scrapbooking, I enjoy stamping, card making, sudoku, cards, games, day trips, shoes, and more!
I started scrapbooking about 10 years ago when my coworkers invited me to a Creative Memories party. Looking back at those old albums, I really want to redo them with all the newest in scrapbooking supplies and techniques! I started my blog last October and really enjoy the community and people out there in blogland! They are all so thoughtful and creative and really make me feel welcome.

Here are some question we asked Amy
1-A little bit about yourself
I'm me. A slightly neurotic, organized scatterbrained homeschooling Mom to 2 boys, Britain 13 and Landon 10. My husband is Active Duty Air Force and we are stationed at Andrews AFB, MD near Washington DC. I am on our Homeschoooling Organization's Board as the Webmaster (and as I type this I am trying to get our first website up and running) I love all things crafty especially paper, and stamps and I'm currently trying to teach myself to quilt and knit (I'll admit, it's a little slow going :-) ) I love the smell of paper and coffee, and this obsession also spills over to a love for books. You will almost never see me without a book in my hands. I have two blogs, CheekyMonkeys (papercrafting and whatever else I'm working on) and ChicBookChick (where I do book reviews and host giveaways). Most days you will find me taxi-ing my boys from one place to another, a pile of books and my laptop in tow.
2- Favorite product from E.A.D.
This is almost impossible to answer..LOL...I am really loving the scrapbooking rub ons. I had no idea before I used them how much better I would like them from the old kind. The vinyl is so easy to work with and comes off so smooth. I used to avoid rub-ons because I could never get them to "rub on" the way I wanted them to. Not so with these vinyl designs. I LOVE how they stick to just about anything, and am constantly looking for new things to stick them on!! I also LOVE that they are HUGE, even though there are measurments, I didn't expect the images to be so formidable. They work great as focal points for projects, or as accents.
3- Favorite color combo you like to create with.
Most of the time, I tend to go bold so I try to challenge myself occasionally to use softer colors. I don't think I have a "favorite" color combo, it really depends on what I'm working on.
4- What inspires you?
Almost everything. Magazines, blogs, a photograph, a bookcover. I never used to look at things that way until I started following a friend of mine's blog Christi Snow (altered ambitions) she's big on creative prompts and inspiration pieces. Once you do a few of them, it almost trains your brain to see a layout, or color inspiration everywhere you look.
5-How and when did you start doing crafts?
About 5 years ago I got invited to a home party and started scrapbooking ( I was sunk). I never thought of myself as being creative before then. All of the sudden, I had this hobby that seemed to fill a void in me that I never knew was there. I think anyone who enjoys something this much can relate...it's almost like breathing.
6-What kind of music do you listen to while crafting?
I like just about everything, but I tend to switch between country and rock.
7-Do you have pets and what kinds?
We have 2 dogs a Boston Terrier named Duchess and a Rat Terrier/Puggle mix named Cocoa....and two hamsters named Gerbil and Houdini

8- Hobbies besides crafting...
Reading and writing reviews, blogging, and I walk twice a day, 2 miles in the morning and 2 at night. This helps me clear my head to prepare for the day, and wind down so I sleep much better. I come up with some of my best ideas while I'm walking!
9-What kind of career do you have?
(work out of the home?) ..I am an LPN, but I have been staying at home since we moved here in February. I'm not sure right now, what the future holds as far as that goes. For now, I'm enjoying the extra time I'm getting to spend with my boys homeschooling and the extra crafting time! :-)
10-How or where did you hear about E.A.D.?
Lindsay Spencer, who is one of the designers for EAD. I stalk her blog, and "met" her through Splitcoast Stampers. Love her design work!!

Well I have to admit I LOVE being a goat mom. I haven't done anything else all weekend. I have all my windows open so if they cry i can run out and see them..
